I really wanted to just type tonight...
So we went to the park today and then we went to Books-a-Million and bought a lot of books. Granted most of them were for Christmas presents, but I got two. A new book by Gregory Macguire (he is the author of Wicked) called "What the Dickens". It looks pretty cool. And another book called "You don't have to be Famous" it is about writing a memoir or autobiography, something that I have always kinda wanted to do and the book struck me so I bought it to read it and maybe get a little inspired. Ha! Like I have time to do that ... Ever. But it is a fun idea to toss around in my head. I actually already have the first page written in my head, you know the one to grab you and pull you in. We will see how far I get.
Last night we watched "Evan Almighty" with my mum and Sam and it was a pretty good flick. Heather nor I were able to see the full movie because Madeleine is sick so we kept having to go into her room to comfort her. I never did this with Audrey but with Madeleine I lay down with her and she snuggles up to me. It is the coolest thing ever. I will lay there and pet her face and she closes her eyes. But then she searches out my face and touches it with her little hand. I don't ever want to get up when she does that. Although it is very sweet and undeniable there is that weird line of annoying...would you just go to sleep and stay asleep but if you keep waking up I will be there in an instant. Sorry DINK's and Singles only parents get that one.
If you love someone does it ever cheapen it if you say it too often? Or does it just reinforce it even more?
just a thought I had.
